Carrier shows public mobile. 5G doesn’t show up as an option. Could it be because the phone is still on iOS 15?

recently switched to public mobile for the Black Friday deal. Signed up for the 5G plan, using an iPhone 12, but 5G doesn’t even come up in cellular data options in my phone’s settings. My husband signed up a day earlier, same plan and phone, and his all works fine.

also, my email and the public mobile app won’t work for me unless I’m connected to wifi. has anyone else experienced this?

@CS_Agent
