Is this a hoax/scam. I go to register, buy a sim card and it tells me after I register and pay that it is not available in my province. I am very discouraged with Public Mobile. Fool me once shame on you....

Not a scam, I currently have the $35 40 gb plan and got it on Saturday, I also live in Ontario. However that deal is no longer available unfortunately and I was not able to switch the rest of my family over in time. I am willing to bet the deal will be back close to Christmas or on boxing day so not even a month from now you should be able to get the deal again.

Ok, must be a system issues as it lets you apply and register pay for a SIM then kicks you out do to province. I will try again for boxing day I guess..

@PhilDamecour I hear you! It can be frustrating. I told all my friends to buy their SIM cards at the beginning of the month so that they would receive it in time for Black Friday. The window is always so short.

The plan expired yesterday. There was an announcement on the main landing page yesterday. Having said that, they might re-introduce this plan again if the competitors extend their promotion.

Whenever these "flash sales" come out, it's imperative that you get it before the weekend ends typically. The carriers all usually follow the cadence to leave byod plans until the end of cyber Monday during black Friday, then discontinue them the following Tuesday. Not always, but a good rule of thumb to go by.
