plan change - any impact on Rewards?

I am going to change from an older plan to the Black Friday $34 5G plan. Right now, I am on Rewards. What are the implications or impact on my Rewards? Will I be automatically or forced to change to Points? Thank you.

I changed my plan but my rewards stayed the same.

I went to change my plan yesterday to the $34/mo plan, but it said that I had to pay the full amount. No rewards were deducted.
