Public Mobile phone numbers cann't be transfered to a US cell phone carrier. You can choose to buy a seperate service to use in the US.

@Bmvanbese Do you mean a pre paid SIM card from the U.S. or a CAN /US plan from PM ? If it’s from PM you keep your number if pre paid sim from the US you will have a different t number while that sim is in the phone but you keep you PM sim kept safe and out back in when done from your trip and you still keep your PM number . @Bmvanbese are you saying that you are leaving Canada to the United States and want to know if you can use your Public Mobile number down in the United States?
