Hello @plummer66

Yes, you can generally get a new Public Mobile (PM) subscription with a new number and later port your main number over once you have the required information from TenTenTel. When you sign up with Public Mobile, you'll be assigned a temporary number. Once you receive the necessary details from TenTenTel, you can initiate the porting process through Public Mobile. It's important to follow Public Mobile's porting instructions and provide accurate information to ensure a smooth transition. Keep in mind that there might be a temporary period during the porting process when both numbers are active, but once the port is complete, your main number will be associated with your Public Mobile subscription. Always double-check with Public Mobile's customer support for specific details and assistance throughout the porting process.

So I am still waiting for my account number from my previous provider. Yesterday he just asked me for the sim card numbers. Why would he need my new sim card numbers? Sounds fishy to me. I just need the account number from him so that I can issue the port transfer through Public correct? Thanks
