Can someone explain this new points thing to me? If I start collecting 'points' do I lose the rewards that I've accumulated? Or do they mean the same thing? On the current plans being offered it says "the new plan says "Earn $1.25/month in points value with our Public Points" - what does this mean? Does this mean I'll get an extra $1.25 off my plan each month?

It’s a one way street . You can change plans and not worry about losing your old rewards . Just be sure to change plan on next renewal and not immediately or you lose money on your current cycle .i can confirm this I just switched to new Black Friday plan and kept my old rewards have a peek 👀

Hi @Murrellsa,

The legacy rewards system and the new points system are different. You could only select one or the other. Newer clients only have the choice of receiving the new points system. If you are on the old legacy rewards system, it is more advantageous.

The new points system no longer have the $2 auto-pay reward. It has been replaced with a 5% cash back. Additionally, you cannot accumulate up to $5/month for 5 years of loyalty. The new points system only provides people $10 a year on their anniversary. So if you remain with Public mobile for 5 years, you'd essentially get $60 a year from loyalty rewards alone compared to only $10 with the new system. There are no $1 monthly rewards for referring a friend to public mobile if you have the new points system. Lastly, in order for you to actually receive your points (money) on the new points system, you need to accumulate 15 points in order to cash out. The only legacy rewards allowed you to get a month rebate regardless of the amount.

Stick with the old legacy rewards... Trust me! If you decide to switch to the points, you can never go back to the legacy rewards.
