I'm new here, but I hope someone could help with problem word document on my iPhone 8. Since yesterday, I haven't been able to open it. Other word documents are opened without any issue.

Try downloading Word app from App Store.

send it to a desktop pc see if there is an issue with the document itself. or try in google docs? it is probably a file issue rather than a phone issue.

Try uploading the document to an online document viewer, it'll let you view the document in your browser (from which you can probably "Save As..." a locally-recognized document type)

There's many different versions of Word, there's also many non-Microsoft office suites and applications which can export different Word document versions. At the worst extreme, you could need to install a dozen of these before hitting on the right one, and some won't even install on iOS. The document could be damaged, corrupted, or even contain malware macros - in which case you might need to run a Word document repair/recovery tool

maybe the file is corrupted? since op is able to open other word document...

If other documents can be opened, it denotes that your data is corrupted. You may search on Google, for example on such phrase as word doc repair tool or any others. But if you allow to suggest you...I would recommend word online service - I found it from search engine query, its general feature is supporting various platforms for files.
