    <description>&lt;P&gt;Nope &lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/347675"&gt;@Thelastjedi&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When porting, it's all on the &lt;STRONG&gt;new provider&lt;/STRONG&gt; to make the request to &lt;EM&gt;pull&lt;/EM&gt; the number from the prior provider.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once the OP contacts the number that is being sent to them by &lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/338383"&gt;@TheSterlinger&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;, Public Mobile will make a request of the original provider that they &lt;EM&gt;release&lt;/EM&gt; the number to public mobile.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The new provider then sends a port authorization request SMS to the Customer,&amp;nbsp; they reply YES, then put the public mobile SIM card in their device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi.&amp;nbsp; I tried to do the provider switch from Telus to Public.....but I missed the timelimit for accepting the Telus switch.&amp;nbsp; How do I get it resent?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
