Note 20 Ultra. Just did the Samsung pushed update. Immediately left with no data / cellular service.

Airplane mode button is half illuminated. Used the Samsung Members app, did a test for networks - shows "no errors". Have reset network settings. Have tried someone elses SIM. Nothing.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Maybe Samsung's update bricked your phone?
Search Internet for similar issues. Maybe there is a solution. Can you reverse update?

I never rush for any update on phone or my computers. Always some bugs, untested features and similar crap.

Thank you all for the suggestions and feedback.

-It is a phone I've had for a year. I bought it off of a phone reselling retail store.

-My sim works perfectly in my old "backup phone" Galaxy S8.

-I Will check the network settings and try the 4G setting. I do only subscribe to 4G public mobile.

-I've ignored the update for days, but it was getting annoying so I did it today with time to kill.

-I chatted online with a Samsung rep. He asked me to send it in for service. I said it was Samsungs update? Why should I send it away?

-I will check the IMEI and respond. Thank you.

Bad that my backup S8 is becoming as regularly used as my Note20 Ultra.

I wonder if using safe mode would let you change the network. And then whether it would stay set.
