Changing Plans - Reward System impacted?

I currently have a $40 20 GB 4G Plan. And I am planning on changing to the Black Friday special subscription of $34 for 20 GB at 5G speed; HOWEVER, I was wondering if I were to do this, would I need to change to the new Public Points rewards program?

I am currently on the old rewards program, so I get -6$ taken off each payment.

@dafdafd No your rewards will stay the same no worries you will continue to get $6 in rewards every 30 days . Rewards are tied to your account not your plan . So you can change plans when ever you want just don’t ever voluntarily switch to the new points system and you will be fine .
