    <description>&lt;P&gt;I understand this option is available but when do I cancel my Bell Canada landline account ie after the transfer has been made?&amp;nbsp; Will I have to update all my contacts will my new phone number?&amp;nbsp; Anything else I should know before I decide?&amp;nbsp; Thank you!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Do not cancel the landline account! Port the number and the landline will close automatically. If you close the landline first, the port won't work and your number will be gone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/346522"&gt;@Amymaria&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Don’t cancel your landline account with Bell. The account need to be activate and once the porting is completed, it Bell account will be cancelled automatically.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I made the mistake of canceling my Shaw number first and ended up picking a new number. I had my old number for over 20 years!&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":loudly_crying_face:"&gt;😭&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also note that it will take 3 to 7 days to complete the porting so your landline will continue to work until porting is completed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="IMG_0150.png" style="width: 750px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/100088iF5BBC241180564E8/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="IMG_0150.png" alt="IMG_0150.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>
