Planning to go on a trip. It's possible to receive a text or call from canada? I have the minimum plan. What should I do to have some service

@canjuraana1 , the Public Mobile service is available Canada wide. You should experience no disruption while in Canada.

I assume you're talking about taking a trip outside of Canada? If so, there's coverage in the US if you either have a US/Canada plan or buy one of the US addons before your trip.

There is no coverage anywhere else in the world, though of course you could use wifi to send/receive iMessages (if on iPhone) or for various IP-phone services (FaceTime, WhatsApp, etc). None of those are really generalized solutions for "have my phone number work regardless of where I am in the world".

Assuming you are going outside Canada, addons must be purchased as you will not received calls of texts.
