so recently tried to transfer my current Public mobile number to another Public mobile sim card, one card had the number that I want to keep the other card has all the rewards on it.

on the login page under profile it has page for transferring number and says if Koodo or Public contact CS agent implying it is possible

CS agent says not possible ---- Site should be updated to reflect this to so people do not waste the time of the CS agents ---- Specifically saying not possible do not contact CS agents because not possible unfortunately it says it is possible contact a CS agent for assistance.

this is my only complaint -- lack of clear direction always causes confusion

Hi @Robert28

You can't really combine accounts like that. You can port in a phone number from most other providers but you'd lose that phone number you wanted to keep. But you won't lose your Legacy Rewards if that's what you're referring to. If you wanted a secondary account you'd have to sign up all over again with a different email address.

Once you port that phone number out of Public Mobile it will close that Public Mobile account. Then after a few days port that phone number to Public Mobile to the account with the rewards on it. It’s a bit of a hassle but if that phone number is important to you it is worth it.

It's not a number port. Adding details about this type of transaction to the website would only confuse people. The only way to accomplish what you're looking for is to do as @LitlLdy suggested and port out first.

was dealing with them, unfortunately didn't seem to understand what I wanted and consistently asking information that was provided in multiple messages. that said LitlLdy / Mayor made a great suggestion

Thank you for the Brilliant idea --- so worth the not having to change # with so many institutions

last time I changed numbers it took forever to fix having no way of receiving verification codes registered to that number
