Could be a dumb question but did anyone ever try a sim locked MetroPCS/T-Mobile phone on this network? Will likely have to get it sim unlocked somehow maybe

No, a locked phone to T-Mobile won't be able to be used here

@jackass87 When did you get the MetroPCS handset? They can be unlocked free 6 months (give or take) after activation, even if not used after first month. [Note: not cheating, it's Metro-by-TMobile policy
