Canada US Plan partner in US

Okay, I am in the US and noticed that I can select different providers when roaming here. The choices are A T&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, which has a forbidden attached to it. Any ideas why the Verizon (forbidden) shows that? I have toggled between AT&T and T-Mobile with no problems. Just curious, as my other phone, through Telus does not forbidden using Verizon. I await your thoughts.

Public has roaming agreements with AT&T and T-Mobile. Not Verizon. So you connect (or attempt to) to them and they see your provider and they tell the phone you're not welcome here. Go away.
