not bad all the way from Saskatchewan down I-29...49/40 to Mississippi then in town in Starkville Ms weak spotty coverage???? This is a university City of considerable size but crappy weak coverage. Does not make sense?? Why here???

It really depends which US operator you're roaming on. Try a different one and compare.

try to lock your network type ( preferred network mode) to 4G and connect to both T-Mobile or AT&T and see if it works any better

Roaming plan USA add on ... I see T mobile come up a lot and one other I didn't recognize.

There are 3 main operators in the States. T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon. I'm not sure if roaming on Verizon is supported, but you can definitely try AT&T.

@sheytoon- T-Mobile for 5G, 4G, 2G. AT&T for 4G. No Verizon.
