How can I have our name show up when we text instead of just our phone number?

The recipient needs to have your number as a contact and whatever name they wish to use for you. This place only sends a number if you don't have it hidden.

Adding - although come to think of it, even when hidden, the usage details of the other end can still see the number (Public Mobile-only? ). Exceedingly poor security for battered spouses with children to have to arrange things with the kids.

For name, the receiving end has to add you to his contact list
