    <description>&lt;P&gt;You set up the account with a TEMP number yourself....correct?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then YOU need to port the number over from the PM APP. It should only take an hour at the most.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Stll Waiting For Old Phone Number To Be Ported.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I subscribed to Public Mobile five days ago.&amp;nbsp; I was told that I need to purchase a sim card so I did that at our local Telus Store.&amp;nbsp; I specifically asked for my number to be ported as I have had it for many years.&amp;nbsp; This morning my phone got connected to Public Mobile but only with the temporary number they set up.&amp;nbsp; Customer support told me that the number was still being ported this morning and now it is mid afternoon and I still don't have my old number.&amp;nbsp; I tried opening my banking app and it wants my old phone number for two step verification which I don't have.&amp;nbsp; If customer support lost my number, is it possible to get it back?&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the number.&amp;nbsp; I called the porting tam and and a rep answered.&amp;nbsp; She check my number and said that there were some errors so she submitted a ticket.&amp;nbsp; If they need to get a hold of me for info, they will call me on the temporary number that does work.&amp;nbsp; I do believe she said it will take a couple of hours to fix whatever issues there are.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I will post here when they resolve the porting issues.&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No.&amp;nbsp; A CS_Agent did it for me.&amp;nbsp; I originally scanned a QR code for an eSIM transfer and selected the option to port the number.&amp;nbsp; Something went wonkers and the CS_Agent created a temporary for me which still didn't work.&amp;nbsp; My next option was to buy a sim chip from the Telus store.&amp;nbsp; This only got connected this morning but my old phone wasn't ported to it.&amp;nbsp; However the temporary number became active.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The issue has been resolved.&amp;nbsp; Calling the porting team did the trick.&amp;nbsp; I tested by logging into my banking app and the two factor verification was sent to my phone.&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
