I have a current 1st generation Motorola smart on a current 1gb subscription.

I would like to update to gigabyte to either 3 gigabytes or 4 gigabytes.

My question is, I am able to load the higher gigabytes (compatible) on my 1st generation Motorola smart phone without any problem?

It will work but keep in mind the 3G will be discontinued in 2025 so it will operate for 1 more year then you have to upgrade to a phone with 4G/LTE and 5G.
