I'm looking to re-install my Esim card. I deleted when I was persuaded to go back to my old provider. They've really messed up and I've changed my mind again but when I reactivated my subscription there was no option to download the Esim again.

The old eSIM can't be reused. You'll need a new one.

eSIM’s are one time use only so when you deleted it off of your phone you used up the one use. You will have to go onto the PM app on your phone and repurchase an eSIM for $5.

You can do this by going to the subscription and add-on’s tab and then scrolling down and selecting “Shop SIM Card Now”

For eSIM with new phone, you have to re-buy a new one for $5.
Yes, while eSIM is "cool", there are disadvantages as well. For eSIM, if you have a new phone, or if you ever wipe your phone, you will have to re-buy a new eSIM again. There is no such problem with Physical sim card.
