Wrong MEID when transfer number

I enter the IMEI instead of MEID and number wasn't transfered.
Is there someone that can help?

it's always better to provide the account number of your old provider instead of IMEI

There is a number to call to talk to live support, and you can provide them the account number instead. They can then re-trigger the process for you. I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) . Check the envelope icon on top right. Call them and get it fixed

It's supposed to be the IMEI. Despite erroneous information provided by Public Mobile in some text messages sent to customers, neither MEID nor ESNs are used any longer.

I agree that using the account number is better, but using IMEI should still work. There are also some cases of customers porting from Ztar Mobile brands who shouldn't be using the account number.
