    <description>&lt;P class="p1"&gt;When you have trouble sending or receiving SMS, it's possible to "force" the change of your SMS settings to solve the issue. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;• Go to Settings&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;• Then go to Mobile networks and select a network other than Public Mobile, Telus, or Koodo&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;• When you exit the menu the phone should lose the network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;• Repeat the process and select Public Mobile as your mobile network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;This procedure will force the update of the message centre number. You can verify it in your message settings.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If you have an android phone, try clearing cache from settings or try a different texting app.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/25932"&gt;@bbaron&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Please try:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- turning off the phone&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- remove sim card&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- reinsert sim card&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- power back up&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, if you have more than one SMS apps installed, try deleting that ones that you don't really use and just have one installed and enabled as a default SMS app.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the help everyone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After realizing I wasn't receiving calls either (there go straight to voicemail), I restarted my phone.&amp;nbsp; That fixed the problem with voice calls, but I still wasn't receiving SMS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I then manually disconnected from the Public Mobile network, and then reconnected.&amp;nbsp; After a couple minutes I received all the messages I had been sending from my other phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Glad it seems to be working again, but that's pretty sketchy all around.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
