@Kar81

Hello!

During the signup process you have a choice between eSIM and a physical sim. The eSIM is free but your phone has to have support for it and the physical SIM is usually $10. It sounds to me like you chose to have the physical SIM.

What plan did you purchase and did you sign up for a 30 or 90 day plan? Lately there have been promotions for both kinds of plans but the 90 day plan is usually promoted by letting the customer know what the cost per month breaks down to (I.E. if a 90 day plan is advertised as $50 a month, you will pay $150 + taxes) and the 90 day plans offer a larger discount. As Public Mobile is a pre-paid service you pay for the service up front all at once so you will either pay the 30 day cost or 3x the monthly cost if electing for a 90 day plan. Also the price listed on the plan page doesn’t include taxes.

If you have any more questions the community is happy to answer them and if you feel like you still want to contact customer service you can do so with the following link:

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Keep an eye on your mailbox here as that is where your reply will come in (envelope icon on desktop, click your avatar icon in the corner and then click messages if on mobile).

First I read that I was recieving an e-sim. That did not happen. I had to wait until one arrived in the mail. I was also over charged by quite a bit. There was a sale on the plan I chose plus a free esim. I was charged full price on the plan as well as for the sim card.
