Hello everyone,

I just moved my number from chatrwireless to Public Mobile before yesterday; Thursday Feb 8. I have questions.

1) my plan is $20-22 talk no text, I can't receive any texts-I get PM message that I was sent a text but don't have the right plan- can I still receive (or a few times send) any text messages with a cost say 20¢-50¢ whatever the cost is-pay as you go- deducted from my balance (now $7)? Canada or province text not even international.

In my previous plan with chatrwireless, I have 100 text, I usually use only 4, and 96 left.

2) if not, can I change my plan now without paying $25-27 talk & text (and losing the already paid $20-22), but only pay the difference of $5-7? -I am OK the missed days of no texts- and not waiting for expiry/anniversary date of 30 days to end? Because I am sure I will be sent few messages, and few of them are important.

3) After the 30 day period when account is active and if there is still money in my account say $10-15 but less than plan price, will I be able to receive/make calls (or text if included in plan) with a cost (say 20¢-50 like pay as you go)?

When I was with virgin mobile, yes, this was possible. But not in chatr. I wonder what it is like with PM. I do this to extend my anniversary date, and if I know I am not going to use my phone heavily for a couple of days or so and not minding the cost of some cents or very few dollars ($1-2).

Thank you.

PM is a prepaid service so you can only use service you’ve prepaid for. If you just signed up you’ll likely be able to have the mods manual change your plan to include texting as long as you have available funds without losing the money you’ve already paid.
