until last spring, my son used an old iPhone 6 on PM network...worked ok. Just make certain the phone is unlocked from previous cell network.

I would suggest you update the iOS 12.5.6 to prevent any issues but it should work fine.

It will work, but it is not VoLTE compatible. Meaning you won't be able to use it for phone calls when roaming in the US. Aside from that it'll work fine though.

iPhone 6 are normally compatible with Nano Sim Cards, which Public Mobile uses. However, it is preferable to update your device,

Thank you - got set up on iPhone 6 with no update; downloaded the app on my iPhone 12 and set up from my phone - very pleased 😀😀
