I'm having the same issue. Am almost always on home internet and use very little data but now I'm running out very quickly. I changed my plan from 250mb to 1 GB this month and have no access to data even though my account says I haven't used any of my allocation yet. Starting to get a little annoyed to say the least.

My data usage has been used up prior to the next cycle. This has never happened before and its only started happening over the past 2 months. I am on WIFI 95% of every day (Most days I am connected to WIFI all day). I have checked my settings. 'Background refresh' is turned off. I have checked the website (and called 611) to see if I am actually out of data and it is showing that I have used up 95% of my data already. Last month, I completely ran out of data and was unable to use certain functions on my phone unless I was on WIFI.

This setting will have your phone use your data if it thinks that your WiFi connection is spotty while still only displaying the connected to WiFi logo.

In cellular settings you should also be able to see what apps are using up most of your data.

What phone (brand) do you have? Apple has weird options/setting to 'help you' and it might use your data even if you are on WiFi.

I NEVER had any issue with data on Android...
