Why is my account automatically debited, but there is no $2 discount?

If you activated your SIM after January 25/22 then you are in the new Points Reward system and the $2 credit is no longer applies.
You will only receive 5% in points from your monthly payment. Once you have 15 points, you can redeem it for a $15 credit off your monthly bill.

Customers joined on and after January 25, 2022 will be on the new Public Points rewards which has no $2 Autopay discount anymore. Instead, you will earn 5% back in public Points for all spending with Public Mobile, collect to 15 poimts and you can redeem for $15 bill credit

Based on your post last month, @Bella_Liu , you just activated here in August 2023.

This means you are on the Public Points system, not the prior rewards.
