Is there a limit in the size of file attachment for sending MMS?

When I send files less that about 5MB it goes through but when I try to send a files around 8MB it does not.

Anyone else?

The maximum size for MMS on PM is 500kb.

So for larger pictures, you need to resize it.

It's very possible that this information also applies to public mobile as it relates to TELUS:

"File size limit, the maximum number of attachments, picture quality and video length can vary from one device to another. Usual limits for MMS are between 600 KB and 3.5 MB per photo and 600 KB or 15 seconds per video"

Try it by separately sending various MMS with file sizes starting at 2 MB and going up in 500kb increments.

Perhaps sort your photos by size and go from there.
