But plans are 30 days not 31.

Officially as those dates are showing, this should mean your service stops at midnight est time on Sept. 13. And your new plan is Sept 14, if you have autopay or enough funds to renew your account.

edit, in actuality the next cycle starts on Sept 13. Watch how the next cycle dates work. They will overlap. A bit frustrating.

i'm actually trying to port my number and move to a different service provider because this telus network has such poor reception in my building. my new sim card hasnt arrive yet (hopefully tomorrow), i wanted to port my number but not have to pay another month of service.. so i turned off auto renew/subscription, does this mean my service will be cut off at 11:59pm EST and any texts or calls received between this time and when i port my number, will be lost?

You've taken it too close to your expiry. Tomorrow will be too late. Why do people wait for the mail? Just go to a store.

Yup, it's all stupid programming. They can't seem to grasp the concept of -1 for that second data. Just recently it was the other way. The first date was a day early. Before that it was how it is now. Way before that it was just one date - the new plan date and said to pay before. That made sense.

so i went through some hoops tonight and managed to acquire a new sim card from my new carrier and started the porting process, but the new carrier is now saying the porting won't be completed until tomorrow at 9am during their business hours.. so if my PM plan cuts of at 6AM, then my current number will be no longer active, and I can't port my old number anymore..?
