Since Jeremy left it seems the announcements for maintenance are not being made on a regular basis anymore

I attempted to log in today to check on status of my request (no response from Mods yet, but possibly due to system being down) and noticed website is down

I'd rather see the website say Maintenaance is occurring if I try to access the site. Sometimes immediate maintenance *IS* required.

I do not think planned Maintenance is being unpublished, as these periods of time are generally durning very late night / very early morning hours.

Something at 8 am is never a planned maintenance.

You're right, we didn't receive a upcoming maintentance notification, so what happened today was unplanned. Whenever we receive notices of upcoming planned notification, we do post them (I know there were a couple this month already).

There is a generic page that goes up when at any point the Activation or Self-serve platforms are not accessible announcing this.

Apologies for any inconvenience this caused - everything should be up and running normally now.
