USA Data only Send MMSes

The last time I was in the USA I got the Data only add-on because I can use apps to text people who I REALLY needed to talk to while I'm away... Anyway, I was messing around and found that I could send MMS messages to people even though I only had the data add-on.

Something else that's interesting is that on my phone I can long press on the Send button and an option to add a 'subject' to my message will pop up. Adding a subject will turn the SMS into an MMS.... you could also add a picture and a message to make it an MMS but then you're sending a tonne of pictures 🙂

thanks for sharing. Yes, MMS could with with data addon

if you need voice in US, now that PM is using AT&T again, the VoLTE will work better with AT&T and/or T-Mobile now

This kind of makes sense since MMS uses mobile data, even if not metered.
