      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello! I recently travelled to Europe for three weeks. While I was away, I took my public mobile sim card out and put a European sim card in. I have now returned to Canada and put my public mobile sim card back in, but none of the calls or messages I was sent while I was away have come in. How do I retrieve them?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your reply. Yes, my calls and texts are working normally now. When I took my telus sim out in the past, the messages came in after I put the sim back in. I was hoping this would be the same with public mobile.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/323770"&gt;@Scobie&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PM , following the same as Telus, only keeps message for 5 days and will delete the message if messages are undeliverable after 5 days&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/3-easy-steps-to-fix-your-text-message-issues" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/3-easy-steps-to-fix-your-text-message-issues&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The TELUS network will store and attempt to deliver the text messages to the phone for &lt;STRONG&gt;up to 5 days&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt; If the messages are not delivered after 5 days they will be permanently deleted from the network.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It is most likely purged after 5 days. However, you can reach out to a Customer Support Agent via private message, explaining what has happened, to see if there is any other solution.
