Long Distance rates without an Add-on

Hello,

I don't make calls outside of Canada normally but my brother lives in the US.

On a rare occasions I need to call him from my phone.

Can someone direct me on what the Long Distance Rate would be if I make a call to the US and I don't have an Add-on on my account.

to call US from Canada using PM, you will need to buy this particular addon:

1000 U.S. Long Distance Minutes - $15.00 (10 Rewards points) all 50 states, plus Pureto Rico and the US Virgin Islands

Or you can also download free VoIP app TextNow and make calls to US for free using the app

@LunchBoxSteve Sorry PM is pre paid and won’t charge you for something you haven’t purchased so you need a long distance add on to call internationally.unless your just looking to call thenUS the consider a CAN /US plan and no add on needed

That seems silly that I can't make "one-off" phone calls without an add-on.

@LunchBoxSteve , or take @softech other suggestion & use the free TextNow app for those phone calls for free. That’s what I use & it works great!

Lucky doesn't seem to have pay per use. Chatr seems to. Koodo seems to. I got bored and stopped looking 🙂 Ditto on the voip app.
