topic No Service -- have tried everything? in Get Support

Hi All,

Unexpectedly, as of last night, my phone is showing No Service (but at least three times has come back on unexpectedly, just long enough for a delayed text or two to come through, and then cuts back out for hours). I have a long-standing Public account in good standing, and the SIM works (we switched it to another phone to check). I restarted the phone, reset the network settings, etc. etc., and I can't currently create a ticket with Public due to technical issues.

I have an iPhone 6s, and everything else is working as it usually does.

Has anyone encountered this? Any solutions? Thanks.

Also, as mentioned, service was fine when the SIM was switched to another phone (in the same location), so it's not a network issue. I'll try the link.

^^ this ^^. @paxcaritas01 - I have read things around here about antenna problems in phones where they have a flaky connection due to being somewhat loose. Maybe that could be looked at by you or a repair shop.

Thanks all. I did take the phone to a repair shop; they tried another SIM and it didn't work either, so it would indeed be a phone issue (but the phone is old enough that it wasn't even worth the diagnostic fee or the cost of the likely repair). Perhaps it is an antenna problem, as there are tiny pockets of landscape that I'll get a weak signal. Very odd, but in the end I just need to replace the phone.
