If I change to a new plan, can I keep the old plan rewards and not join the point system. And also keep my bonus one's,

Yes, the rewards will carry over and stay the same. You won't lose anything by changing Plans regardless of whether you are on the Legacy Rewards or Point System.

Definitely keep the old reward system and do not switch to the new Public Points. You will get less value for your money.

The only thing changing plans may affect are activation bonuses tied to a certain rate plan if they were part of the activation.

@Donna14 You can change plans and keep your old rewards I can confirm this . I just switched plans and kept my old rewards .
