If you'd like to double down on that, just log into your account, go to the payment section and remove the credit card information. If there is no credit card number to charge, account is closed. But once again, once you port a number, it's closed.

The customer has already indicated that there is no access to the Public Mobile account. However, even if the customer could still get into the Public Mobile self serve account, there isn't any way for customers to remove the credit card from there. Only a customer support agent can do that.

I finally was able to transfer my phone numbers to Telus but now I can’t get into my public mobile account to cancel. What do I do?

this is the reason I’m getting rid of public mobile. It is so frustrating.

But in any case once successfully ported out . One cannot sign back into the account. At all so no way to check that credit card info was removed unless you asked support prior of the port
