I'm currently on my $39 4G plan on public mobile and thinking about switching over to a 5G plan.

I have a sim card from PM that I have been using since 2017. Will I need to buy a new sim card to fully utilized the 5G experience?

I have a Oneplus 8T phone and it is 5G compatible.

No need for new SIM card. Your old SIM should still work with the 5G Network.

HI @saitox

no new sim card needed. The same sim card can be used on 5G network and no difference with new sim card.

And when you make plan change, use Change on Renewal to schedule the plan change

How about the OG Less for Less SIM Cards, anyone have any idea if these work with 5G Speeds? I'd assume so but doesn't hurt to ask.

I have 3 of them.
