In my experience, no, not when I was in Vietnam. But there could be roaming in the US.

@Lhayno sorry no international roaming . Public mobile will only work in Canada and the US with US roaming add ons or one of the new CAN / US plans

to be specific, you are able to use your phone outside Canada and the USA (depending on model/device build) however, not with Public Mobile service.

You will need to purchase a local, prepaid SIM card in the destination you are visiting and insert it in your device while there to get the services you require.

Only Canada and USA you could you might be better off downloading a texting app or use a local sim card

where are you going? As said, you can buy Roaming if you are going US.

If anywhere else, try travel eSIM if your phone is eSIM compatible or local physical data sim card

but prepare a backup plan if you need to receive 2FA code from banks or from your email

You can use your phone internationally if you purchase a local SIM or eSIM to work in that country.

Only Roaming offered by PM is in the USA.
