When you call your voicemail you can go into the settings menu to turn this off. You can also turn off the time stamp, and just press 5 if you want to hear it ad hoc.

4-4-2-2 for phone number

4-4-2-3 for date and time

When I'm checking my voicemail and I don't want hear the entire phone number read out of who was calling me before the voicemail, is there any number I could just press in order to skip forward directly to listening to the message itself?

To clarify, before playing the Voicemail it tells me the date + time and phone number of who called than continues to playing the message. I know who called and left a message based off call logs, and it wastes alot of time telling me the same thing it tells me in my call logs.. I just want to hear my voicmails without all the automated nonsense.

Thanks.
