Help to remove the old number 780-xxx-xxxx from my account with email xxxxxxxxxxxxx

my problem is that I created a new account using the email xxxxxxxxx that used before which was associated to my previous public mobile number 780-xxx which was already closed. Then when I was about to port my number from cellphone provider, public mobile system asked me to confirm a code which they have sent to the number 780xxx and this number was the one that was old and was already closed. so now I cannot active my number account because of this error. There was no option to skip this step. Please help me as my cell number is no longer working as it was already ported.

first, we are just customers here and you might want to remove your email address for your own protection.

the quickest way to get your line activated is to use another email address to activate first. You can change the email address later after you work with agent to delete the profile associated with the old email address and then change the new line back with the old email

But if you like, you can also message Support to have them clean up your old profile with the email address first. Message them here
