How to connect for US roaming?

I bought a US add-on. I'm in the US us but can't make calls or receive text, why not?

Do I need to setup a separate access point? Is so, what are the settings?

You have to try to connect to T-mobile and have roaming set on.

Go to the settings on your phone then enable Roaming and go to Cell Network and connect to T-Mobile.

Please note that there are no T-Mobile towers in Alaska so no cell service in Alaska.

@DinoWPG99 reboot the phone and make sure you’re connected to T mobile . Manually select it if you have to . And also ensure data roaming is on . If you have option for voLTE in phone setting turn that on too

if you're in Alaska, the PM add-on will not work at all. Otherwise follow suggestions above.

I tried AT&T first (which you'd think works since I bought an AT&T unlocked phone on eBay) with no luck.

T-Mobile AND Reboot together seemed to do the trick.

AT&T not working has nothing to do with the phone, it has to do with Public Mobile not having an agreement in place to use their service. Glad you got it working though.
