I have great US roaming coverage but in Tellico Plains Tennessee I have no service for 20 miles. And there is towers and others have good coverage.

@Tellico Just make sure you’re connected . To T mobile and reboot the phone and text in different areas is all you can really do

If you're really gung ho on using your plan while in the US, follow the solution. However, if you're going to be there a bit, might want to consider this. Just to note, you must be IN the US to view this and be on a US IP address. Or a VPN might help.
