It will be used towards your next renewal or if you buy add-ons

$10? If so and you activated recently with a referral code that's your bonus referral credit. The $10 will automatically be applied towards your next renewal payment ahead of your autopay/pre-authorized payment unless you choose to purchase an add on before that time.

I just added monies for data and it went on my credit card

check your Payment History page and it will show you how PM uses your Available Fund and how much they charged you
