Why am i seeing data usage at around 10pm every night when I am at home on my wifi?

I was checking my data usage because it has been getting used way more for some reason. I keep seeing that i've used data around 10pm... But i'm on my wifi at home.... it doesn't make sense.

PM does not update the data usage constantly. In fact, it only update it twice a day.

So, any entry you see is just a total usage between that timestamp and the timestamp of the previous entry. The usage around 10pm you see on the Usage log does not mean it was used at that m,oment but a total usage for the last 12 hours.

Also, for correct usage reading, always use Incognito mode to login My Account to avoid reading cached old info

Those two timestamps even vary for all accounts. Some are later, some are earlier. I would check your phone for settings on doing OS and app updates over wifi-only. And also wifi-assist. And all the apps that don't really need to use background cell data other than ones you want to.
