Which plans are Capable of using the Wifi Calling feature, it it limited to a select few or are all Plans able to use it?

@Priority Sorry PM does not support wifi calling . You would need to look to Koodo or Telus for that

From my understanding I thought it was usable on Wifi Calling Compatible devices only?

@Priority Your phone has the feature . But the carrier has to support it also to work .

adding PM has eSIM for new activations . But PM doesn’t support eSIM on Apple Watch . Public mobile is tier 3 value plans

I am expecting we will see e-SIM for existing accounts as late as September when the Simless iPhone 15 is introduced to Canada, with the Samsung S24 following suit around February of 2024.

Public will want to keep clients, and alot of us buy our phones off contract just to stay with Public.. therefore the Infrastructure for e-SIM is going to have to quickly become available, especially for existing accounts.

@Priority Wifi Calling is a carrier feature, of course, your phone needs to be compatible as well

However, PM is a tier 3 provider and only provide basic features, and Wifi calling is not one of them

If wifi calling is a must (possibly due to poor network situate at home or at work ), then consider moving to Koodo and Telus, which Wifi Calling is offered for free.

@Priority , I was hoping with the introduction of VoLTE that PM would add Wi-Fi Calling but nope! As is it there’s several phone’s that are not VoLTE compatible here at PM so Wi-Fi calling probably wouldn’t work for some! Many of Us have asked for this though especially with PM’s poor network connection this past year! We would need to switch to Fido, Koodo or 1st tier providers if we need Wi-Fi calling 😞

With all the technical issues here at PM that they struggle to fix I don’t think they could handle adding something else!
