I switched from a $40/mth Koodo plan with 8GB to $39/mth 20GB PM plan with international SMS.

The port with esim took less than 30 minutes. A $10 credit for using a friend's referral code showed up the next day.

Download in a good coverage area (3-4 bars) - average about 100 Mbps - which is about same as Koodo

plan to use pts for US 15 day roaming when needed

so - have to say 10 out of 10 for the switch over!

And I should add that the esim was a touchless experience - it was sent by SMS and configured automatically.

A big improvement over manually swapping SIM cards.

Mine (about a month ago) was similarly smooth. it's unfortunate that not everyone gets that experience, but personally I also can't complain.

Glad to hear this in this new 'day and age' of Public @Cbf .

I have not activated an account in many months, but the ones with porting (landline and mobile) were really smooth. Wish all customers could experience positive activations.

Yes, most people get such an easy experience, too

We saw some hiccups from people but mainly because they missed the steps and not the system failed them
