Hello in March, my 4G phone wouldn't work for phone calls in US on P M 's US plan, only 3g shut down anyone know why this doesn't work?

which city and state you were in?

Only selected T-Mobile compatible VoLTE phone can use Voice over LTE for roaming voice in US

What brand and model is your phone?

For most of us, we will have to rely on the T-Mobile 2G network for voice

If you are going US again soon and want to try using the Roaming, You can try if VoLTE first, if not, you can change it to 2G and see if it works:

First make sure VoLTE is enabled on the device setting.

And if it does not work, try to change the Preferred Network Type or Network Mode to 2G and see if the calls goes through

Also, you can download VoIP app TextNow as a workaround to make calls and text if you have Wifi or if your roaming has data component and data is working

Which US plan? Add-ons or plan? There was a US roaming plan a few years ago. There's US calling while in Canada. If the add-on then did text and data work? Does your phone have the capability to switch down to 2G GSM? Is your phone enabled for volte yet?
