Does public mobile not offer any way of getting a data add-on for outside of North America?

@fosterkaitlin91 - No, there is no option for services outside of Canada or USA. Look for a travel sim with data option.

Local data prepaid is the only solution. You can also download VoIP app TextNow to make and receive calls (and text) to Canada/US on another phone number assigned by TextNow when you are overseas

If you have a newer phone with eSIM, consider travel eSIM. Let me know if you are interested with that and I can provide you more info

No. All services only work in Canada or using roaming add-ons in most of the states.
