I have the 500 international bonus minutes, which I know is good for calling the USA. But, if I am in the USA, can I use this to call from the USA to Canada?

Sorry, you can only use them when you're in Canada.

You'll need to get a US roaming package to be able to call when in the USA.

@rsorensen no, that won't help. The LD minutes are for calls FROM canada to US

When you are in US , you will need to buy US Roaming package

or you can use VoIP app like TextNow to call for free

No, this addon is only whilst you (your device) is in Canada.

When you are in the USA, you will need to purchase roaming addons for that to get service.

How To Purchase Add-Ons Using Your Self-Serve Account

To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:

Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
- You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
- If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!
after you Add-on you have to do Rebooting your phone

No, this add-on is for the calls originating from Canada to the countries on file under this add-on.

Vice versa and from member country to the same country not covered.

@rsorensen....in order to be able to call most US and Cdn numbers whilst in USA, you'd need an active PM account and one of these add-ons....that only work for 10 days (240 hours)

edit...your 240 hours start as soon as you "buy" the add-on. Good idea to buy it just before you go or buy it in USA using free wifi somewhere.

You would need to purchase one of the US roaming add-ons which are valid for 10 days from purchase date.
