I'm going to the States tomorrow and am looking to purchase an add-on package. Once I've paid, when does the coverage take effect? Is it immediate or can I specify a date (i.e.: tomorrow)?

go in to your cel,l phone settings and make sure volte is enabled. For Iphone, Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options (Make sure Roaming is enabled) > Voice & Data (LTE or Volte). Your best experience will be with LTE and Volte.
